​Speak Your Mind, Speech and Language Services is a private pediatric therapy clinic that strives to provide comprehensive, family centered, neurodiversity affirming, evidenced based speech and language therapy to children and their families residing in the Kitchener-Waterloo region.   We provide both in person and teletherapy to our clients.  

We offer assessment and treatment for infants, children, and youth in the following areas of communication:

We provide support to Autistic children , and children with Hearing Impairments, Motor Speech Disorders, Reading difficulties and learning differences.

With changing times and the COVID-19 outbreak, comes changing practices.   Speech-Language Pathologists can see many children in one day and are often in very close quarters with clients. As SLPs we traditionally work near or in the mouths of children.  When we moved our sessions online in 2020, we were operating to reduce the spread of COVID-19.  We have learned that MANY of our clients LOVE virtual sessions.  We can see so man benefits to this service delivery model.  And as the evidence has shown, it is effective, fun and engaging.  These sessions are here to stay.

For children who might be ready to engage with the therapist online, we have taken care to invest in a child friendly online platform that is interactive and fun.  We have mastered Green Screen technology to light up your child's imagination, stimulate conversation and motivate them to achieve their goals.  We have a tool box of games and activities to keep them engaged!

In addition to the time spent online, each online session will be followed up with activities for home.  Whether we are in person or online, we love connecting with families to empower them 

with strategies to help their children meet their communication goals.
